Cell line discussed in class yesterday.
Here is a link to an article talking about the cell line we were discussing in class yesterday.
The problem was that these cells were used for years, for many different scientific advances and the family of the woman who "donated" the cells found out 25 years after she died. Her doctor took a sample of her cells from a tumor that he removed from her and kept them without telling her.
